Nokia T21 Tablet with 10.36-Inch 2K Display launched in Kenya for Ksh. 32,500

HMD Global has announced the availability of yet another tablet in Kenya, the Nokia T21. This is the third tablet the makers of Nokia phones is bringing to the market after the T21 and T10.

The Nokia T21 Tablet is the successor of the Nokia T20 that Nokia claims has been designed with a tough body made from aluminum and 60% recycled plastic.

“Nokia T21 is the tablet that does it all and can quickly adapt, whether you need to focus on your job or relax with your loved ones at home. This is a tablet that doesn’t compromise on durability and has all the promises you’d expect so you can keep your device for longer.” Adam Ferguson, Global Head of Product Marketing, HMD Global said.

The tablet comes with Android 12, with two OS upgrades promised along with three years of monthly security updates.

Nokia T21 is equipped with a 10.36-inch 2K display with an SGS low blue light certification. The device packs an 8,200mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It runs on Android 12 out of the box and is powered by a Unisoc T612 chipset under the hood.

It comes with 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of storage that can be expanded (up to 512GB) via a microSD card slot.

Important to also mention that the Nokia T21 Tablet also comes with stylus support — both Wacom WGP and Wacom Active ESE 2.0.

For the optics, it features an 8-megapixel rear and front-facing camera.

HMD Global says the Nokia T21 Tablet will be available in Kenya starting today in Grey 4/128GB option for Ksh 32,500. For every purchase, the company says customers will get  free Nokia Essential wireless headphone that is valued between Ksh.7000- 8500 while stocks last.

“Building on the success of the Nokia T20, the new Nokia T21 is designed top to bottom to help support businesses. With taking payments through its inbuilt NFC sensor, its intuitive second screen control system, secure data storage powered by renewable energy, and its natural fit with HMD Enable Pro – delivering unparalleled device control and configuration – the new tablet has versatility and power to support a plethora of use cases.” Sebastian Ulrich, Managing Director Global Enterprise Business, HMD Global added.
