OPPO A77s now available for purchase in Kenya for Ksh.30k


OPPO has unveiled its latest device in the A series, the OPPO A77s in Kenya. Available for Ksh30,000, the device features a 6.5″ IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 600 nits peak brightness.

The new mid-range smartphone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC and comes with  8GB RAM + 128GB storage. We are also getting 5GB of virtual RAM. 

The OPPO A77s also packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. It runs Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1.

For the cameras, the phone has a dual setup at the back with a 50MP primary and 2MP depth sensor and an 8MP selfie camera. Video recording is capped at 1080p 30fps for both front and main cameras. .

The phone is being launched under the campaign #A77sFootballMoments that is set to inspire Kenyan football fans to capture their most memorable and inspirational football moments this football season. 

As a continued partnership with football star David “cheche” Ochieng, OPPO is calling upon  Kenyan football fans to take part in the #A77sFootballMomments  challenge and stand a chance to win an OPPO A77s device. 

Customers can buy the A77s at any of OPPO’s physical shops countrywide or from E-commerce partners such as Jumia.
