itel has officially launched its newest high-definition short video smartphone S18 Series in Kenya and other African markets comprising the S18 and S18 Pro.
itel says the phone brings consumers with clearer and more interesting selfie vlog experience, at the same time supporting 4G LTE network.
The itel S18 Pro camera-focused phone is packed with itel’s first-ever 32MP FHD front camera, the ultra-high definition pixels allowing users to paint their stories in incredible detail. The S18 on the other hand features an 8MP front AI camera that itel says can intelligently identify user’s gender, skin colour and ambient light.
To guarantee users take clearer photos and videos in every usage scene, S18 Pro is armed with both software and hardware upgrade. Users can enjoy clear photographing experience at night or in other low light surroundings, thanks to the pre-embedded Super Night Mode, Video Beauty Mode and built-in front camera flashlight.
Integrated Short-video Features
With selfie and vlog trends on the rise, the S18 Pro camera comes with a variety of built-in video templates and One-Click Album Creator function, to help users create their unique and fancy videos in an easier way. Both S18 and S18 Pro cameras bring a wide range of interesting 3D AR stickers, users can decorate different elements to make their selfies stand out.
Better Performance with Big Memory Big Battery
S18 Pro is powered by 64GB ROM+7GB RAM. This massive memory ensures smooth operation and gives users enough storage space to save more than 24,000+ photos and 5000+ songs. The S18 – comes with 64GB ROM+4GB RAM.
Both devices come with the Memory Fusion Function, which can efficiently equivalent S18 Pro’s 4GB RAM to an additional 3GB as well as S18’s 2GB RAM to an additional 2GB.
For battery capacity, both S18 and S18 Pro are equipped with 5000mAh long-lasting batteries. itel claims a full charged battery can support 20 hours of browsing, 15 hours of video and 24 hours music playback time.

S18 Pro, measuring 8.42 mm thin, has a stunning crystal starry backboard, presenting starry sky visual and sparkling stars that can totally accentuate its fashion-forward style. S18 Pro is easy accessible as it is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face dual unlock. For S18, measuring 8.7mm thin, has a dazzling design with stereoscopic pattern and straight edge, presenting classy and stylish.
Both devices in the itel S18 series come with 6.6” HD+ high-resolution Waterdrop display and 90% screen-to-body ratio, which can provide users with an ultra-large viewing experience.
The phones are available in five different colours S18 is available in Mint green, Digital silver, and Midnight black while the S18 Pro is available in Digital silver, and Midnight black.
