The Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72 are now officially. Samsung unveiled the two devices at a virtual Unpacked event on Wednesday evening.
The devices come with an IP67-certified dust- and water-resistant design and also feature quad rear cameras as well as a hole-punch display design.

Samsung Galaxy A52 specifications
The phone is powered by an octa-core SoC, along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of intenal storage. We are also getting a quad rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro shooter. There is also a 32-megapixel at the front for selfies.
The Galaxy A52 runs on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top and packs a 4,500mAh battery.

There is an octa-core SoC, along with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB and 256GB of storage options that are expandable via microSD card (up to 1TB).
Just like we saw on the A52, the phone comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 5-megapixel macro shooter, and an 8-megapixel telephoto shooter to offer 3x optical zoom. We are also getting the same 32-megapixel selfie sensor at the front that is available on the Galaxy A52.
It packs a 5,000mAh battery and runs on Android 11-based One UI 3.1.
Pricing and Availability
The Galaxy A52 is available for purchase immediately. In fact, at the local launch yesterday, Samsung said it has already sold 100 units of the A52. The A72 on the other hand will be available from next week.
The Samsung Galaxy A72 is going for Kshs 50,000 and the A52 is going for Kshs 38,500.
The new Galaxy A Series will be available in Awesome Violet, Awesome Blue, Awesome Black, and Awesome White
