Samsung Electronics on Tuesday announced the official price of its 105” curved ultra-high-definition TV-set.
Now to get your hands on this television that has been described as the virtually most advanced television ever, you will have to pay a whopping sum of money $120,000 , that is £70.3 thousand,or €89 thousand without taxes in the U.S.
“We continue to set the bar as the UHD market leader by delivering the best picture quality, design and most immersive viewing experiences in home entertainment,” said Joe Stinziano, Executive Vice President, Samsung Electronics America during the announcement
The UN105S9W is more than just an Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) TV. It features an aspect ratio of 21:9, and is technically “5K,” thanks to its 5120 x 2160 pixels native resolution. 16:9 inputs will stretch out; while Ultra HD movies in that aspect ratio (which would otherwise black-band on 16:9 displays), will fill the screen. And then there’s the curvature.
