Nokia C1 Now Available In Kenya For Ksh 5,999


The Nokia C1 is now officially available in Kenya for Ksh 5,999. The Nokia C1 was among the devices launched by HMD Global in the local market early this month.

Speaking during the official unveiling of the phone, Mark Misumi, Business Manager at HMD Global, said, “As consumers in Kenya look to upgrade from a feature phone to an affordable 3G experience, we wanted to ensure that we offer them a smartphone that offers the Nokia brand values of quality, reliability and ease of use.”

”We have designed the Nokia C1 as an affordable 3G alternative for these consumers – offering them a combination of a large 5.45” screen and all-day battery life.” he added.

The Nokia C1 comes with a 5.45-inch touchscreen display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 64GB).

The phone runs Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) and is powered by a 2500mAh removable battery.

For the cameras, the C1 packs a 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture on the rear. The selfie camera is 5-megapixel

It is available two colors; Rose Gold and Green.
