Infinix Smart 3 and Smart 3 Plus launched in Kenya for Ksh 7,999 and Ksh 11,999 respectively
Infinix mobile has today unveiled two new devices in the Kenyan market, the Infinix Smart 3 and the Smart 3 Plus. The two budget smartphones will be available for purchase on Infinixmall and Infinix outlets countrywide.
Infinix Smart 3 Plus
The Smart 3 Plus is actually one of the most affordable smartphones in the market right now to offer triple rear cameras. It features a 6.21-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) display. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 265 via a microSD card.
The Smart 3 Plus is an Android Pie device and comes with an impressive 3,500mAh battery. It also supports dual-4G standby for users to enjoy 4G streaming and fast download speeds
As I mentioned earlier the Smart 3 Plus is one of the most affordable smartphones to come with tripple cameras. There’s a 13 MP + 2 MP camera and a ‘night detection’ camera which according to Infinix have been integrated with AI scene detection technique, that intelligently identifies the faces, objects, scenes, and light conditions to optimize photos. The selfie camera on the hand is 8-MP. Sensors include Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor.
This Smart 3 Plus is 7.8 mm slim and weighs 148 grams.
Infinix Smart 3
The Infinix Smart 3, on the other hand, features a 5.5-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch.It comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 256GB via a MicroSD card.
It has a 3050mAh battery capacity and ships with Android 9 Pie. Just like the Smart 3 Plus, the Infinix Smart will have 4G support and comes with the same MediaTek 6761 processor to power the phone.
As far as the cameras are concerned it features a dual 13MP+8MP primary camera and a 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.
They will retail at Ksh 7,999 for the Smart 3 and Ksh.11,999 for the Smart 3 Plus.
