Updated: You have until 13th Feb to Pre-order the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 on Jumia
Huawei unveiled the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 in Kenya this week. The device is Huawei’s latest mid-range device in the Y series featuring 6.26-inch Dewdrop display, 13MP AI Camera with a f/1.8 wide aperture lens, and an octa-core Qualcomm SoC Snapdragon 450. It also comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo powered by a 4000mAh battery.
Speaking at the launch, Steven Li, Head of Eastern Africa Mobile, said “Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 is made for today’s dynamic youth who are deeply engaged with the social media culture. Given the rise of video-centric platforms, the HUAWEI Dewdrop Display—first debuted with the flagship HUAWEI Mate 20 Series—lends itself to great viewing experiences thanks to its top class screen-to-body ratio of 86.7 percent. The pearl-shaped notch that houses the 16MP front camera is Huawei’s smallest notch to date; it is situation on the vertical axis of the device, and does not disrupt the harmonious symmetry of the near-full screen design.”
