The Samsung Galaxy J6 was among the devices Samsung launched in Kenya in June this year. The device was launched together Galaxy JZ Duo, Galaxy J4 and the Galaxy A6+ under the banner ‘The Ultimate Squad’. According to Samsung, Both the devices are targeted to different consumers based on their needs.
Samsung is calling the Galaxy J6 ‘’The Movie Star’’ due to the nearly full-screen display on the device. The display is 5.6-inch Super AMOLED with a 720p resolution. The Galaxy J6 runs on a 1.6 GHz Exynos 7870 processor, has 32 GB of onboard storage which is expandable to up to 256 GB, and with 3 GB of RAM. It also comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with a 3,000 mAh battery.
For the cameras, the Galaxy J6 has 13 megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras, It will retail at Ksh.26,999.
