Poco M6 Pro, C75 Set to Launch in Kenya


Poco is set to relaunch in the country with the unveiling of the Poco M6 Pro and the Poco C75.

Poco M6 Pro was launched early this year. It has a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits brightness, and Widevine L1 DRM certification. The phone is powered by a MediaTekHelio G99 Ultra processor with RAM options starting at 8GB/12GB and storage from 256GB to 512GB. It comes with Android 13 and MIUI 14 and is supposed to get Android 14, HyperOS upgrade.

Poco M6 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup featuring a 64MP primary with OIS, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro. You also get a 16MP selfie camera. The phone can record video capped at 1080p 60fps.

Poco M6 Pro has a 5000mAh battery with 67W wired charging which means you can get a full charge in 45 minutes.

Other features include dual speakers(top and bottom-facing speakers), an under-display fingerprint reader, an NFC, an Infrared port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has IP54 ingress protection.

Poco M6 Pro comes in Black, Blue and Purple. The phone will be available in the country starting this month. However, pricing details of the M6 Pro will be shared soon.

Poco C75 is much newer as it was launched last month and is available today in the country on Jumia starting from Ksh 13,799.

Poco C75 has a 6.88-inch 720p LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 600 nits brightness. It comes powered by Helio G81 Ultra processor with 4/6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage.

Poco C75 comes with Android 14  and HyperOS.

Poco C75 has a single 50MP main camera and a 13MP selfie camera and both can shoot 1080p 30fps.

It has a 5160mAh battery and 18W Type-C charging. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a headphone jack.
