vivo V30 5G launched in Kenya for Ksh 64,999


vivo has unveiled the vivo V30 5G, the addition to its V series in Kenya. Launched on Monday, the phone will be available for purchase at a recommended retail price of Ksh. 64,999. 

The vivo V30 comes with several new features including an upgraded Aura Light Portrait, a 120 Hz 3D Curved Screen and a premium design.

vivo says the phone also comes in outstanding new colour options to represent users’ unique styles.

“V series has always been synonymous with a light and simple aesthetic, a characteristic that is amplified with vivo’s groundbreaking innovations in both portrait photography and design. We have upgraded the Aura Light Portrait feature, bringing a truly powerful tool to help users easily capture stunning portraits, even in challenging low-light night conditions.” said vivo Kenya CEO Mr. Sean Wu.

vivo V30 Specs

The vivo V30 feature 6.78-inch curved 1.5K (2,800 x 1,260 pixels) AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 2,800 nits peak brightness level.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, enhanced Extended RAM technology and up to 512GB of onboard storage.

For the cameras, V30 features a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support and a second 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens alongside an Aura Light flash unit.

V30 also comes with VCS True Color Main Camera, the vivo-exclusive Camera-Bionic Spectrum (VCS) technology enables the camera’s vision to be closer to that of the human eye. This improves image clarity by 25% and color reproduction by 15% compared to the previous generation.

The device’s Aura Light Portrait feature, with its rounded rectangular design, showcases vivo’s attention to detail, promising users effortless masterpiece creation.

The vivo V30 will also come with a 5000 mAh (TYP) battery with support for 80W FlashCharge. vivo claims that for daily use, V30 has doubled its battery lifespan. Even after 1600 charge-discharge cycles, the battery capacity remains above 80%, maintaining a battery lifespan of four years.

The phone be available in peacock green, and the timeless noble black.
