OPPO has officially unveiled the OPPO Reno10 series in Kenya. The series comprises the Reno10 5G and the pro variant, the OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G.
The two devices are available for purchase starting today at a recommended Retail Price of Ksh 56,999 for the Reno10 5G and Ksh 69,999 for the Reno10 Pro 5G.
With this series, OPPO introduced its first-ever telephoto portrait camera to the Reno10 series, and it is also the first time a telephoto portrait camera made its way to its segment.
Let us look at each of the devices
OPPO Reno10 5G
The Reno10 5G comes in Ice Blue and Silvery Grey With colour options. It runs on Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 and features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate.
For the cameras, the device comes with a 64MP 1/2-inch sensor on its Main Camera, a 32MP IMX709 Telephoto Portrait Camera and an 8MP IMX355 112° ultra-wide camera. There is a 32MP ultra-clear camera in front for selfies.
The Reno10 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, promising fast and reliable performance. On battery performance. It packs a 5000mAh battery, with 67W SUPERVOOC charge. OPPO claims you can charge the phone to 100% in just 47 minutes.
Reno10 5G comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM. The device has also received an A rating in the TÜV SÜD 48-Month Fluency Certification.
It measures 162.4×74.2×7.58mm and weighs 185 grams.
OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G
This pro variant also comes with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080X 2,412 pixels ) OLED 3D curved display with 93 percent screen-to-body ratio, HDR10+ support, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate
It is available in two colors Glossy Purple and Silvery Grey colours.
The phone runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The RAM can be virtually expanded up to 8GB.
When it comes to the camera department, the OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G has a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS and an f/1.8 lens. There is also a 32-megapixel telephoto sensor an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and the same 32-megapixel selfie camera at the front.
The OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G also packs an under-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock for biometric authentication. There is a 4,600mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC flash charging support, that OPPO claims can juice up the the battery in just 28 minutes. The phone measures 162.3×74.2×7.89mm and weighs 185 grams.
Availability
OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G and the Reno10 5G will be available for purchase across all OPPO stores country-wide and e-commerce partners such as Jumia, and Killimal. The recommended Retail Price of Ksh 56,999 for the Reno10 5G and Ksh 69,999 for the Reno10 Pro 5G.
OPPO says for the month of September, customers who buy any OPPO Reno10 series will get a gift box.
