It’s that time of the year. The Ministry of education on Thursday released the 2022 KCPE results after learners sat for the exams in November.
Unlike back in the days when you had to wait for the results to be sent to your school. Candidates can now check their results straight from their phones.
The good thing is you can check it from any network.
If you’re a Telkom Kenya subscriber, here is how to check for your 2022 KCPE results or those of a candidate you’re a parent/guardian:
- Open a new message in your text messages
- Enter the candidate’s index number
- Send the index number to short code 20076
- You will then receive your results confirmation message.

This message should attract a charge of Ksh. 25 upon receiving the message.
Over 1.2 million candidates sat for the examination and are expected to join secondary schools. The examination was undertaken in 28,408 centres around the country according to Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu.
