SeamlessHR introduces attendance management module to enhance workplace productivity

The modern workplace is substantially different from what it was one or two decades ago. With lower concentration levels and more distractions from all quarters, employees are reportedly losing significant work time to unessential attention-grabbers.

Itā€™s in this backdrop that Africaā€™s leading HR and payroll company, SeamlessHR has developed a time and attendance product to help organizations deal with losses resulting from poor management.

The Time and Attendance Management module is an innovative product that combines several elements of employee management and culminates in proper tabulation of the payroll.

The product facilitates easier administration of shifts by providing a way to clock in and out, track absenteeism, populate employee overtime hours and culminates in payroll formulation, making it easier for companies to pay employees with accuracy.

It also has a geolocation feature which employers can utilize to know where employees register their attendance from, specifically where office and field working hours should be clocked.

ā€œSeamlessHR is committed to helping organizations manage their resources to become more productive and successful, so this was a natural next step in our journey,ā€ says SeamlessHRā€™s Chief Technology Officer and co-founder, Deji Lana. ā€œAs an African firm that knows where the shoes pinch for other African businesses, we are excited about being able to build the tech solutions that fix their problems.ā€

This tool has undoubtedly come at an appropriate time as organizations reorganize the workplace and seek better ways to increase productivity. In the United States, it is reported that unscheduled absenteeism costs employers about $3,600 per year for hourly workers and $2,660 each year for salaried employees.

SeamlessHR has been working to provide end-to-end hr and payroll services, with the company making incredible progress over the last couple of years.
