Egyptian fashion e-commerce startup The Fashion Kingdom has raised $2.6 Million in seed funding
Egyptian Fashion and accessories startup The Fashion Kingdom (TFK) has raised $2.6 in seed funding round.
The company was founded in 2020 and launched an eCommerce platform that helps local and international merchants grow their online sales using their curated marketplace. More than 200 brands on the TFK platform provide shoppers with various products to choose from.
The startup has reported more than 150,000 customers every month with about 40% of its sales coming from returning customers. There is a range of products that include beauty products, personal care, accessories, and home fashion among others.
“Earlier this year, we found that one of the most important areas we thought we needed to focus on was the brand.,” said co-founder and CEO Fadi Antaki. “There are good quality and price brands that don’t have the know-how to sell online. They need a lot of support in operation, fulfillment, warehousing, and digital production and photography.”
Besides enlisting products on the platform, Fashion Kingdom provides support services for brands. One of the exciting services is a virtual fitting room that helps brands evaluate customers’ sizes and recommend outfits. The platform is also a one-stop-shop solution covering operations, co-marketing, and digital content creation services for brands.
The startup’s round of funding will be used to accelerate growth, build scalable technology and expand its team. Female employees account for 43% of the company’s workforce and 50% of the company’s managers.
