Samsung’s new 2022 Neo QLED 8K smart TVs launched

Consumer electronics manufacturer Samsung has released a set of updates to its trailblazing Neo QLED 8K TV.

During the company’s annual Unbox and Discover event held virtually on March 30, the company showcased several cutting-edge technologies that its global consumers will be enjoying as the year rolls on. The highlight of the event was the Neo QLED TV fitted with Neural Quantum Processor 8K and 20 independent neural AI networks that analyze that help optimize picture quality.
.
Speaking at the event, Jong-Hee (JH) Han, Vice Chairman, CEO, and Head of Samsung Electronics’ DX (Device eXperience), said, “The 2022 Neo QLED 8K is designed to fulfill the needs and empower the passion of our consumers, and the innovations are sparked by their experiences.”

Han added that the upgraded screen “has the power to unlock new experiences as the most important device at the centre of the home.”

This advanced TV screen uses what Samsung calls Shape Adaptive Light Control system, automatically customizing lighting according to the surrounding. The processor works alongside Quantum Mini LEDS to ensure bright areas remain bright while dark spaces remain dark. “The full moon will stay bright against the black night sky.” The company said in a statement.

This year, Samsung is pushing its vision dubbed “Screens Everywhere, Screens for All,” aimed at seamlessly connecting to give consumers more personalized experiences and ensure “there is a screen fit for every occasion and lifestyle.”

“We are focused on creating a seamless experience across all of our products, which allows consumers to effortlessly enjoy all their benefits.” Said Han.

Alongside these new innovations, Samsung also announced its 2022 Ultra Slim Soundbar, which uses the wireless Dolby Atmos technology. A set of new monitors, digital signage, and remote controls made part of the package introduced at the global event.

The company emphasized its continued commitment to environmental preservation, saying that many of its products now use recycled resin. Samsung said that its high-resolution monitors are built from recycled that could have ended up in the ocean.
