Vivo has announced plans to launch the vivo Y53s smartphone in Kenya on the 4th of August with pre-orders opening on the 26th of July 2021.
Vivo is marketing the phone using the slogan ‘Clear shot, Unlock more fun’ and according to the company, it’s expected to have upgraded functions to set a high bar for mid-range products.
The vivo Y53s has already been launched in select markets and comes with a 6.58-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. It’s powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage.
The Vivo Y53s runs Android 11 and is powered by a 5000mAh battery with a 33W FlashCharge fast charging. Vivo says this fast charging technology has the ability to recharge the phone up to 70% in just 41 minutes, which is 37% faster than the 18W Fast Charge.
The device will come with a high-definition 64MP main rear camera with an f/1.79 aperture; bringing impressive clarity to its users at unbeatable value according to vivo Kenya. We will also be getting an extra 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and another 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The selfie camera is a 16-megapixel with an f/2.0 aperture.
The Vivo Y53s runs Funtouch OS 10.5 and will be available in Kenya in Black Green and Blue Purple colours.
