Snag it at a discounted price on Jumia today

Vivo Y12s budget smartphone is now available in Kenya. The company’s latest budget follows other recently announced devices in the series, including the Y1s, the cheapest device from the company in the market, and the Y20, which is selling at Ksh 13,999.

Vivo Y12s sports a 6.5-inch HD+(1600 x 720 pixels) water drop Halo FullView Display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. That considerably large display is supported by the massive 5000mAh battery, which has become common on devices at this price range.

Under the hood, Vivo y12s packs a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset paired with 3GB of memory. Internal storage is capped at 32GB, but you can expand it via a microSD card to 256GB. Like most phones, it has a fingerprint sensor but this one is mounted on the side.

Despite lacking fast charging(only has standard 10W charging), vivo Y12s supports reverse charging at 5W.

For the cameras, Vivo Y12s has a dual camera primary system consisting of a 13-megapixel f/1.8 main camera and a dedicated 2-megapixel lens for depth sensing. On the front is an 8-megapixel lens.

“The integrity that has gone into making this phone is high engineering, yet the company has seen it wise to offer the phone at a cost-effective price for the Kenyan market,” says Vivo Brand Manager, James Irungu.

“As a youth-centric brand, we are constantly innovating to deliver stylish smartphones infused with trendsetting technologies, offering industry-leading Performance, Design, and Experience at the most competitive price points locally,” he added.

You can buy the from Jumia starting today for a discounted price of Ksh 12,999. The phone will be available in vivo branded retail stores from 7th at Ksh 13,599. Vivo Y12s is available in two colors; glacier blue and phantom black.
