Airtel Kenya has been experiencing network outages since morning. The telco has come publicly at noon today through its different social media platforms confirming the same.
“We are currently having some technical challenges with our network. Due to this, calls and SMS messages will be intermittent. However, data services are available.” Airtel Kenya said in the statement.
”We are working to resolve this on priority, and we shall keep you updated. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your patience.” the statement says.
This came hours after customers on social media complained their calls, SMS were not going through. The whole service is down, so customers are unable to use any of the telco’s services including data services.
Currently, you have to rely on another network. Otherwise, you might remain in the dark until the company irons out the issue. We will provide an update once the services are restored.

Airtel Kenya has reported that the service has been restored.
“We are pleased to inform you that the network issue has been resolved and services restored. Thank you for your patience.”
