OPPO has officially launched its latest F11 series – F11 Pro and the F11 smartphone in the Kenyan market. The company is selling the OPPO F11 Pro for Ksh.39,999 while the OPPO F11 will retail at Ksh.29,999.
OPPO says the F11 series upgrades from “selfie expert” to “portrait master”, featuring a 48-megapixel (MP) image sensor.
Speaking during the launch Muthoni Wachira, OPPO Kenya PR and Communications Manager said the “OPPO F11 series debuts in the Kenya market to offer our customers an opportunity to collect their day to day memories, especially when with family and friends without the fear of having low-quality photos even in low light condition. The innovation from selfie to portrait master is a first in the world and enhances OPPO’s position in the smartphone market,”
The Oppo F11 Pro features a 6.53-inch display. The display is a full HD+ LCD display with the screen resolution of 1080x2340pixels and an aspect ratio is 19.5:9 and the screen to body ratio as high as 90.9%.
It comes with an octa-core MediaTek P70 processor that clocks a speed of 2.1GHz. We are getting 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. It runs Android Pie OS with Color OS6 will be the UI skin.
As far as the camera is concerned the OPPO F11 Pro sports a dual 48MP+5MP sensor setup on the rear with LED flash support. The front camera, on the other hand, is 16MP with is a popup module. OPPO says it has added a host of technologies to the camera section to make your photography experience exceptional. There’s no notch.
It comes with a 4000mAh battery that supports a VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 fast charging.
The OPPO F11 features the same specs with the key difference being the pop-up camera and the memory. The Pro model has the levitating camera on the front, while the standard model retains the waterdrop notch to house the selfie snapper. The pro model comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage while the standard one comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Both F11 Pro and F11 will be available for pre-order from 24th April to 1st May, consumers can pre-order these devices at OPPO brand shops and partnered shops whole countrywide in Kenya. OPPO says F11 Pro pre-order buyers will receive an exclusive gift box containing a premium headphone and a VOOC Flash car charger, together worth Ksh. 9,999. On the other hand, F11 pre-order buyers will also receive an exclusive gift box containing a premium selfie stick, a speaker, and a metal phone ring holder, together worth Ksh. 4,999. Both F11 Pro and F11 will be available for pre-order buyers to collect or for all consumer to directly purchase in stores from 2nd May, OPPO F11 Pro and F11 First Sales Day.
