OPPO F9 Starry Purple colour variant now available in Kenya

More than a month after unveiling the OPPO F9 in Kenya, OPPO has now announced the availability of a new OPPO F9 Starry Purple colour variant in the country.

The OPPO F9 Starry Purple comes after the recently launched OPPO F9 Sunrise Red and Twilight Blue. We haven’t got a chance to interact with the device but from some of the images shared by the company this variant features a different kind of finishing with glittering effects on the back instead of the usual ‘flower petal’ design we saw on the Sunrise Red and Twilight Blue colour variant.

“Today’s customer is in constant move. We have therefore developed OPPO F9 Starry Purple to fit in with this nature and lifestyle, and to create a new trend in the industry.’’ James Irungu, PR and Communications Manager of OPPO Kenya says.

The dual camera and fingerprint scanner trim on the Starry Purple colour variant is now coated with a gold colour finish, making this great mid-range device more attractive and premium.

The Device will also be available at a price of 35,990 Ksh for the 4GB version and  Ksh.37,990 for the 6GB variant. VOOC Flash Charge which is the world’s first low-voltage fast charging technology remains the key selling point for this device.

Other features of the OPPO F9 include a new 6.3-inch display with a ‘waterdrop’ notch. It is powered by a Mediatek P60 processor and for the cameras, it comes with a 25MP selfie camera and a 16MP+2MP main camera.

We haven’t gotten a chance to review the OPPO F9 but keep it here for any updates regarding the device.
