Internet service provider MYISP Limited has been awarded the Corporate Internet Service Provider award of the year for 2016.

The company received the award by the Computer Society of Kenya at an event held at Laico Regency hotel today.

MYISP has previously won other awards including “fast growing and most innovative ISP” in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and “Outstanding Corporate ISP” in 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015.

The company has for the last ten years focused only on corporate internet, serving Kenya’s best organizations with dedicated and fully redundant internet delivered through a country- wide fiber and wireless network.

The company has also announced plans to roll out a full-service fiber offering Nairobi residents in 2017.

“We are working with a HD TV content provider to deliver the best content and fast reliable internet to homes within Nairobi area and thereafter move to other counties in the country”. MYISP CEO Mr. Tony Karanja said.

“Our research shows that consumers have a need to watch HD TV and play online games that need a service that can deliver quality consistently”.

He added that MYISP plan is to offer a multiplay home service at a much lower price than is currently available.

The company offers clients with services like connectivity, co-location, hosting and other managed IT services.
