SimbaPay launches free UK to Nigeria money transfers

unnamedSimbaPay has launched a money transfer service between the United Kingdom (UK) and Nigeria that will see Nigerians  living in the UK can send money to any bank account or mobile phone in Nigeria using the SimbaPay app or website at zero charges.

Nigerians living in the UK with a bank account, debit card or credit card will be able to use the SimbaPay app from any mobile phone, tablet or computer and SimbaPays says the transfer will be credited within seconds to recipients’ bank accounts or mobile money wallets hence eliminating the inconvenience of queues and old school paperwork.

“We’re excited by the launch into Africa’s largest economy” said Nyasinga Onyancha, CEO SimbaPay.

“It’s awesome to be eliminitating high money transfer fees for Nigerians in the UK who are sending money to their loved ones”. he added.

SimbaPay provides daily locked-in exchange rates for the Nigeria Naira (NGN). The SimbaPay app can be downloaded for free from the Apple or Android app stores.

The company says the service will gradually be rolled out to Nigerians living in other EU countries.
