Facebook Launches Save, A Read-It-Later List For Links, Places, & Media Pages
By Nixon Kanali,
Facebook has today launched a basic feature for iOS, Android, and web called Save. This is a featurethat lets you store links from News Feed and Facebook Pages for Places, Movies, TV shows, and music to a list where you can view them later.
With this feature you can view the items you saved at any time by going to your saved items in the “More” tab on mobile or by clicking the link on the left hand side of Facebook on the web.
Your saved items list is organized by category and you can swipe right on each item to share it with your friends or move it into your archive list.
The feature will be rolling out over the next few days, and we hope it could let people browse the feed in a shorter time without worrying about forgetting things they don’t have time to explore right away.
It will also at times show you reminders of your saved items in News Feed. For example, Facebook says it might show you links to articles you saved.
