Tecno’s New DroiPad 7D affordable tablet runs on Android v7.0 (Nougat)
Tecno is launching yet another tablet, just after recently unveiling the Tecno PhonePad 3 mainly targeted to consumers who love doing business while on the move. You can read the review here. The Tecno DroiPad 7D is the successor of the Tecno DroiPad 8/8D which was launched in April 2016 and which we so much loved.
Tecno is calling this new tablet the DroiPad 7D and let’s just describe it as a cheaper version of the Tecno PhonePad 3 as it comes with downgraded features as compared to the PhonePad 3.
Why should we find the tablet interesting? First the tablet is really affordable going for just Kshs. 9,900 and runs on the latest version of Android 7 Nougat. So this is a tablet many won’t mind spending their money on making it a very competitive product.
Tecno Mobile decided to drop the premium metal design and went for a cheap plastic body on the DroiPad 7D. Well, we still love it. It features modest 7-inch display again, the perfect size for a tablet.
The tablet is already up for sale but before you go out and purchase one, here are the specs.
