Samsung Introduces Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red Editions for Galaxy S9 and S9+

Samsung Electronics has announced the addition of new colour editions of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones; Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red.

Launched in February 2018, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are currently available in Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue, and Lilac Purple.

According to Charles Kimary, Head of Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics East Africa, ‘’The new editions extend the colour offerings of Galaxy S9 and S9+ with vibrant styles that embrace a modern and classic feel.”

He adds that the firm has especially been encouraged to introduce the new colour option after the impressive response from consumers on the Lilac Purple option in the market.

The Sunrise Gold edition for Galaxy S9 and S9+ is Samsung’s first device to feature a satin gloss finish which wraps the smartphone in a tranquil glow and glimmer.

Samsung says the sophisticated finish was developed to appeal to all users by bringing a stylistic touch of high fashion and urban interior design to a user’s mobile device. It adds that the Burgundy Red edition is one of the deepest red colours available featuring restrained gloss for added density and a look that is contemporary and traditional.  The Sunrise Gold will be available in Kenya starting June 2018.
