Zuku has launched a new 500Mbps package ‘ Fastest Internet Speed in Kenya’

Wanachi-owned Zuku has announced what it claims is the fastest internet speeds package in Kenya at 500Mbps.

This new package announced yesterday will be available under Zuku’s Triple Play 500 Mbps package and brings to customers a bouquet of three (3) service for one price; the fastest internet speed in Kenya 500 Mbps, Digital TV with more than 130 local and international tv packages and home telephony with the lowest calling rates of Ksh 2/= to ALL networks in Kenya.

To celebrate the introduction of Zuku Fiber 500Mbps Triple Play package Zuku says it will also be upgrading the speeds of its packages to twice the current speed in a high-speed campaign dubbed “Twice the Speed X 2”. This means, the popular Triple Play packages offered by Zuku Fiber will now be Triple Play 10Mbps at only Ksh 2,799, Triple Play 20Mbps at only Ksh 4,199 and Triple Play 60Mbps at only Ksh 5,299. Other high-speed Triple Play packages also available are 100Mbps, 200Mbps and the fastest speed in Kenya 500Mbps.

Remember Zuku recently beat Safaricom to reclaim its top spot as the country’s largest fibre internet provider, according to latest Sector Statistics report from the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA). Zuku grew its subscription numbers from a total of 151,548 subscriptions in the last quarter to 175,433, an increase of 23,885 connections.

Safaricom on the other hand dropped to the second position in the period under review. Safaricom according to CA holds a total of 165,810 fixed broadband connections, which is an increase from the previous quarter by just 11, 207 — barely half of Zuku’s additional numbers.
