Vivo Smartphone Kenya Partners With Online Retailer to Increase Visibility

Vivo smartphone’s local office has partnered with Jambo Shoppe, an online retailer in the country, to help increase the smartphone makers’ local footprint.

The collaboration is will give its users more ways to shop for devices. It will also offer vivo more visibility in the Kenyan market. The partnership is timely, as it comes at a time when Kenyans are increasingly opting for online shopping.

A February 2021 study by MasterCard revealed that 79 percent of Kenyan consumers are shopping more online since the pandemic started in early 2020.

According to Mr. James Irungu, Vivo Kenya Brand and Communications Manager, “this partnership will give our users a wide range of choice and will see them enjoy the best mobile phones at the most affordable prices as we continue to expand locally.”

Available vivo phones through Jambo Shoppe include vivo Y12s, vivo V19, vivo Y1s, and vivo Y20. In the future, the smartphone maker says they’ll avail more of their products on Jambo Shoppe. You can check vivo phones on Jambo Shoppe through the company’s official brand page.

Vivo is betting on the partnership to increase the visibility of its devices to potential customers.
