Oppo files trademark for Oppo Find X successor – Oppo Find Y
Oppo last year took over the industry launching its first flagship device that was aimed at rubbing shoulders with flagships from iPhone, Samsung Galaxy S Series, and even the Huawei P flagship series.
From a recent leak which shows a patent filing from Oppo named Find Y, it may be the successor of last year’s Oppo Find X.

Find X set the motorized camera trend which has been a mainstream feature for most companies in both 2018 and even this year.
So Oppo Find Y may still introduce a new trend which may be probably the Under-display camera which the company teased on back in June.
Last year’s Oppo Find X did feature a 6.42-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood was Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 10nm SoC which was the high-end powerhouse those days paired with Adreno 630 GPU. Oppo Find X launched in Kenya with a starting price of Ksh 99,990, which is Ksh 100,000.
Hopingly this year’s model will emulate some One Plus 7 Pro features under the hood majorly UFS 3.0 storage type. Other mainstream features currently for high-end devices that will possibly come in the Oppo Find Y include 7nm Qualcomm SDM855 SoC, USB type-C support, Fast Charging tech, and wireless charging too.
