Nokia 2.2 Officially Announced in Kenya Going for Ksh 10,500
HMD Global has been on the run to fight for more market share in the Kenyan industry. Most of there products –if not all –are often centralized on the guaranteed updates –both security and OS for three and two years respectively.
But we all know they have kept their word since the beginning. Nokia 2.2 is another entry-level device that has been Announced today from HMD, which is still targeted for the budget category in the Kenyan smartphone ecosystem. Nokia 2.2 goes at a price of Ksh 10,500. At this price range, there isn’t much to expect, but this is another good deal for users who need a smartphone for the first time.
It features a 5.7-inch water-drop notch display with 720p resolution, MediaTek Helio A22 chipset with Quad-Core cortex A-53 processor clocked at 2.0GHz and a Power VR GE8320 GPU. Under the hood, you get 2GB of RAM alongside 16GB expandable internal storage for your media files.
The cameras in Nokia 2.2 is a basic setup featuring a primary 13MP snapper, while the selfie camera is made of a 5MP lens. Plus you get a 3000mAh battery powering the device, and the whole system runs on the latest stock Android 9.0 Pie. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, up to LTE network support, USB 2.0 charging port, and Dual-SIM support.
