In a bid to contribute to the ever-changing cybersecurity landscape, Microsoft has announced a new service dubbed Microsoft Security Experts.
Through this integrated service, organizations can hire cybersecurity experts to help them achieve more secure, compliant, and productive outcomes.
“Microsoft is uniquely positioned to help our customers and their partners meet today’s security challenges. We secure devices, identities, apps, and clouds—the fundamental fabric of our customers’ lives—with the full scale of our comprehensive multicloud, multiplatform solutions.” Vasu Jakkal Corporate Vice President, Security, Compliance, Identity, and Management said in a statement.
The company aims to have companies benefit from human-led services as they tackle the prevailing and ever-increasing cyber security challenges. Jakkal noted that with the threats that pose various risks to organizations, technology products are not enough to help mitigate and remedy.
“Technology alone is not enough to defend against cybercrime. Technology is critical, but it’s the combination of leading technologies, comprehensive threat intelligence, and highly skilled people that makes for a truly effective security posture.” The VP added.
The service by Microsoft is a comprehensive suite of products that will combine both human resources and expert-trained technology to deliver better security outcomes.
The move by Microsoft is a welcome response to increased cyber-attacks that have become a major threat to both online and offline businesses. Such threats reports Cybercrime Magazine, caused the world USD6 trillion in 2021, which could increase to USD10.5 trillion by 2025.
“We understand today’s security challenges because we live this fight ourselves every single day,” Jakkal emphasized.
