Infinix S4 with a teardrop notch launching soon, here’s what we know

Infinix Mobility unveiled the HOT 7 last month and it looks like we might be seeing yet another device from them in the coming weeks from its ‘’S’’ series, the Infinix S4.

The company has not shared details about the expected specs and features although Tweets sent from the official Infinix Kenya handle suggest it will come with a teardrop notch.

Of course, we should also expect some camera improvements, especially for the selfie. The Infinix S Series has always been known for its great selfie camera.

It’s interesting that the company has decided to go with a teardrop notch on the Infinix S4. Remember notches have taken a permanent seat at the top of most smartphone display these days and various smartphone makers are trying to reduce its size to make it more pleasing to the eyes, especially for us who hate notches. The teardrop notch, also known as the dewdrop or waterdrop notch, the teardrop notch is just big enough to house the front-facing camera.

If you noticed Infinix does not mention anything about the Infinix S3, meaning the company might have decided to skip it. We had the Infinix S, then came the S2 followed by the Infinix S3X (We still wonder why they decided to go with this name)

As mentioned details about the specs are still sketchy but we will definitely be on the lookout and share any other details as soon as we get them. We’re also not sure when exactly it will be launched or the pricing. But not that the teasers are out, the launch might actually be happening soon.
