Huawei Mobile Kenya has launched a set of business to business products for the East African market.
The company has had a fairly successful penetration into the mobile device consumer market and now wants to leverage the goodwill earned over the years to serve the business community with products that cater for modern digital needs.
Products in this series include MateBook B3, B5, and B7 series for laptops, MateStation B520 series for desktops, Display B3 series for monitors, MatePad C3, and C5e for tablets, and a set of business printers.
For distribution across East Africa, the company partnered with Mitsumi Kenya an end-to-end supply chain solutions provider.
Jim zhujie, Huawei Mobile Kenya Country Head said, “The future of smart office will definitely be defined by the integration of ecosystems, interactions and devices. The era of constant connectivity and collaboration demands is here, content developing and sharing across different platforms is growing, therefore, the need for tech solutions through innovative ideas and products.”
The sales and distribution is undertaken by Huawei Consumer Business Group(BG), an arm of Huawei responsible for smartphones, PC and tablets, and wearable and cloud services.
With a distribution network in more than 170 countries and fourteen Research and Design (R&D) centers, the company assures its customers the latest technological advances across its devices and products.
Huawei said in a statement, “All Huawei Consumer BG business products have passed a battery of stringent quality assurance tests. Business desktops, for example, must pass explosive atmosphere, mechanical vibration, low air pressure, low temperature, high temperature, mechanical impact, mold, solar radiation, temperature impact, vibration, sand dust, humidity, and acid atmosphere tests. Only select materials are used, and products are designed with an emphasis on reliability and security. “
