Everything you need to know about Google Stadia including pricing, minimum requirements, and availability
Google Stadia an online gaming service by Google, which was announced in March at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) has now received an official launch date. Google yesterday at the Stadia Connect presentation revealed details on when their new game streaming service will be officially available.
Google Stadia brings full gaming experience on both mobile, laptop, and PC in a convenient way without having to buy an expensive console or a powerful PC. All you need is just a subscription and a stable internet connection to play games. Online gaming is the feature of gaming which even Microsoft and Sony are already preparing for. Stadia will officially be available as from November in selected countries in the UK, USA, and Europe in a total of 14 countries.
Stadia Pro and Stadia Founder’s Edition pricing
Stadia will be unveiled with the special Founder’s edition that will enable one to enjoy gaming on Stadia at launch. The Founder’s edition comes with three months of Stadia Pro subscription for you and another three months subscription that you can gift a friend through Stadia’s Buddy Pass.
Founder’s Edition is priced at $129 and comes along with ‘Night Blue’ Stadia Controller and Google’s Chromecast Ultra plus an exclusive Founders Stadia username. Don’t worry if you miss the Stadia Controller you can still purchase one later at $70 however you can even use any other HID controller. Google Stadia Pro subscription will be bundled with a monthly fee of $10 that will give access to up to 4K streaming at 60fps plus 5.1 surround sound.
However, there will be a free version of Stadia later the so-called Stadia Base that will have limited streaming up to 1080p at 60fps, and there will be no additional free games, however, you will still buy games whenever you want but at no discounts. Also, the Stadia Base will use stereo sound type, unlike Stadia Pro.
Stadia Supported Games
Stadia Founder’s Edition gives one access to the whole Destiny 2 Collection for free however a total of 31 games are currently supported. The other games will have to be purchased for one to play, but still, Google will add more free games that will be accessed only via upon subscribing to Stadia Pro. The whole list of supported games as per now include:

Minimum requirements and device support
Google Stadia requires a minimum network bandwidth of 10Mbps which will enable streaming 720p content at 60 fps and enjoy stereo sound. However, to enjoy the full 4K HDR video streaming experience, a minimum bandwidth of 35Mbps is required.
Games can be played on Chrome browser on PC, laptop, or tablet but for mobile devices, Stadia app will be required. For now, only two phones are supported Pixel 3 and the recently launched pixel 3a both from Google.
