Donald Trump’s official government website goes live
Barely a day after Donald Trump was elected the president of the United States, his transition team has already unveiled his first official government website greatagain.gov.
The website appeared online on Wednesday, and according to a press note published on it, the Presidential Transitions Improvements Act of 2015 signed into law in May, 2016 granted major party candidates with office space and services immediately following party nomination, so that they could get started with their work as national leaders as quickly as possible.
Make America great again was Trump’s campaign slogan and the new website contains press information, biographies of Trump and his Vice President-elect Mike Pence. It also contains a place for American’s to apply if they are interested in working in the new administration.
The website also states that the president-elect has 73 days from the day he was elected and inauguration day to make more that 4,000 presidential appointments.
Well, if you are an American and the news of Trump being elected president hasn’t sunk in, the website should be able to convince you enough.
