Oppo’s First Under-Display Camera Device to be Showcased on June 26

We had already tipped on the upcoming trend in smartphone design with an Under-display camera which will likely be the mainstream art for bezel-less displays. Oppo and Xiaomi were on the forefront, showcasing their prototype of the upcoming tech a few weeks ago.

Under-display camera technology, of course, is almost if not the perfect solution to achieving fully bezel-less displays. We’ve already seen dew-drop, water drop, shark fin, camera punches, and even motorized cameras all aimed at achieving one goal – a bezel-less display.

Oppo has already hinted that their in-display camera technology will be showcased at the upcoming Mobile World Congress event that will be held in China. In an event banner, Oppo showcased a display with an under-display camera which means the device will be tipped on that day.

A promo video has also been teased showing the evolution of smartphone designs to their latest tech in devices, which is a fully bezel-less smartphone.

However, it doesn’t mean that the device will be launched right away; it might take some time before a device launches commercially with the in-display camera technology.
