TechTrends Media’s GreenShift Sustainability Forum set for March 2026

TechTrends Media, in strategic partnership with Africa Business Communities, is proud to announce the GreenShift Sustainability Forum, a premier full-day event dedicated to accelerating Africa’s transition toward a resilient and sustainable economy.

Scheduled for March 2026, the forum will convene under the theme: “Driving Africa’s Sustainable Future: Innovation, Collaboration & Action.”

As the continent faces the dual challenge of rapid industrialization and climate vulnerability, the GreenShift Sustainability Forum serves as a critical platform for business leaders, policymakers, startups, and investors to align Africa’s development with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The GreenShift Sustainability Forum follows the massive success of the TechTrends AI Business Forum held in October 2025, which set a new benchmark for inclusive innovation in Nairobi. By leveraging the same high-impact format of expert-led keynotes and interactive “working lab” sessions, GreenShift aims to move beyond theory and focus on actionable strategies in ESG, renewable energy, green finance, and carbon markets.

This forum is part of a broader commitment by TechTrends Media to lead the climate conversation. It is supported by two key pillars:

  • ECONEWS (econews.co.ke): The group’s dedicated sustainability publication, providing in-depth coverage of the blue economy, green energy, and conservation efforts across the continent.

  • The GreenShift Podcast: A weekly conversational series hosted by Nixon Kanali, featuring climate-tech founders and policymakers. The forum will feature a live recording of the podcast, bringing ground-level sustainability expectations to a live audience.

A major highlight of the forum will be the official launch of GreenShift Magazine, a new premium print and digital publication dedicated entirely to sustainability, climate-tech, and the circular economy. This new title serves as the perfect companion to the recently launched TechTrends Magazine, expanding the group’s editorial reach from digital transformation to environmental stewardship.

Call for Partnerships

Following the collaborative model that saw giants like Samsung, Sama, and iTel drive the AI Forum, we are officially opening a Call for Partnerships for GreenShift 2025.

We are seeking mission-aligned organizations, development agencies, and financial institutions to join us as sponsors. By partnering, your organization will:

  • Position your brand at the forefront of Africa’s green economy.
  • Demonstrate leadership in ESG and mandatory reporting readiness.
  • Access a high-level network of decision-makers and innovators.
  • Showcase milestones during the dedicated Sustainability Report Spotlight Sessions.

Partnership and sponsorship Inquiries can be directed to info@techtrendsmedia.co.ke

Ticket sales for the forum will officially open in January 2026. Early registration is encouraged due to the limited capacity of the working lab sessions.
