Tim-Sky Media Services Scoops Double Victory at PRSK Awards

Regional communications agency Tim-Sky Media Services has claimed top honors at the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK) Awards of Excellence, securing two major accolades for its work with Absa Bank Kenya.

During the gala dinner held in Nairobi, the agency was named the winner in the Partnership Engagement Initiative of the Year category for its execution of the Absa Kip Keino Classic. The event has grown into a flagship international athletics meet, currently ranked as a Gold-level event in the World Athletics Continental Tour.

The agency also took home the Internal Communication Campaign of the Year award for the “Absa Let’s Move Campaign,” a strategic initiative designed to bolster employee engagement within the financial institution.

Bev Naliaka, General Manager and Client Service Director at Tim-Sky Media Services, attributed the wins to the agency’s strategic approach and the strong partnership with their clients.

“These awards not only highlight the exemplary work delivered here at Tim-Sky Media Services but also reflect the trust our clients continue to place in us,” Naliaka said. “We believe in the power of communication to connect, build brands, shape culture, and create platforms for authentic storytelling.”

The awards mark a significant milestone for Tim-Sky Media Services as it expands its footprint in the regional market. Naliaka specifically acknowledged Absa Bank Kenya for trusting the agency to narrate their brand story.

The evening also saw recognition for other industry players, with IMG Kenya, Ascent, Winnie Gor Africa, Calla PR, and Engage Communications receiving awards in various categories.
