Samsung and LOOP Partner to Deliver Affordable Device Security and Management for Kenyan Businesses

Kenyan businesses can now access Samsung Knox, a leading platform for endpoint device security and management, thanks to a new partnership between Samsung Electronics East Africa and fintech firm LOOP.

The collaboration gives companies a unified dashboard to secure, deploy, and manage all their devices — from laptops and tablets to rugged field devices and employee smartphones. For industries such as logistics, retail, and financial services, the partnership removes the heavy upfront cost barrier by offering flexible financing options, including extended payment terms and seasonal schedules tailored to business needs.

Built into the hardware of Samsung Galaxy devices, Knox provides defense-grade security against cyber threats, setting it apart from software-only solutions. Its unified endpoint management (UEM) features include advanced device management, security analytics, and remote troubleshooting. While optimized for Samsung products, Knox also supports other operating systems, all managed from a single console.

“Modern businesses rely on a diverse fleet of devices, and protecting them is no longer optional. The biggest challenge has always been the upfront investment,” said Anthony Njihia, B2B Manager, Mobile eXperience Division at Samsung Electronics East Africa. “This partnership with LOOP removes that barrier, offering built-in Samsung security with financing models that align with how Kenyan businesses operate. It ensures companies can protect their data and boost productivity from day one.”

LOOP echoed the transformative potential of the partnership. Alex Kibera, Ecosystems Business Lead at LOOP, said: “Our mission is to empower businesses through innovative and accessible financial solutions. By financing Samsung Knox, we’re giving companies access to enterprise-grade security and management tools that allow them to innovate and compete securely.”

Through the agreement, businesses can now acquire Samsung Knox solutions such as Knox Platform for Enterprise, Knox Mobile Enrollment, Knox Manage, and Knox Asset Intelligence, bundled with comprehensive support from deployment to ongoing management.

The financing options are available immediately, making enterprise-grade device security and management more affordable and accessible across Kenya.
