Global B2B payments platform Verto has announced the launch of The Atlas Suite, an API-first embedded finance solution designed to simplify international transactions for financial institutions, marketplaces, and digital platforms.
The new suite allows businesses to integrate Verto’s payments infrastructure through a single API, easing challenges around compliance, costs, and operational complexity, issues that have long limited cross-border trade, especially in Africa.
With access to local accounts, deep FX liquidity, and compliant infrastructure across 49 currencies, Atlas enables seamless expansion into and out of the continent.
Speaking on the launch, Ola Oyetayo, CEO of Verto said “We have seen firsthand how complex and costly it is for businesses to expand into new markets and move money, especially across Africa. Atlas is a game-changer, removing these barriers and giving our partners the freedom to grow.”
The solution allows fintechs and banks to embed payments, FX, and banking services directly into their platforms, while non-financial businesses such as e-commerce companies can integrate financial services without building in-house systems or securing local licenses.
It also supports last-mile payouts for remittance providers and payroll firms, enabling instant, compliant mass payments through bank transfers or mobile money.
Kenya’s travel-tech startup Triply is among the first adopters, using Atlas to power cross-border payments for its platform, giving customers faster, more reliable, and compliant financial services across multiple currencies.
