UK Tech Firm Syntura Launches East Africa’s First AI and Cybersecurity Hub

Syntura, a UK-based technology company, has expanded to Africa with the launch of the Syntura Experience Center, the region’s first AI, cybersecurity and collaboration technology hub.

The company says the new hub will allow businesses to experience, test, and implement emerging technologies within their operations.

The Centre will serve as a platform for enterprises across all sectors to experience, test, and validate advanced technology solutions in a real-world environment. As a regional technology demonstrator, it will facilitate Proof of Concepts (PoCs), enabling organisations to adopt tailored solutions that directly address their industry-specific challenges while accelerating digital transformation within their workplaces.

This hands-on approach, the company says, ensures businesses can make informed technology investments that drive operational efficiencies, enhance business resilience, and gain a competitive edge.

“The future of work is intelligent, secure, and seamlessly connected. Our new Experience Center is designed to help businesses navigate this transformation by bringing AI-driven workplace innovation to life. ” Syntura’s Group Managing Director, Chris Evans said.

”We have mobilized massive investments in Kenya and will continue to do so because of the great potential we see in East Africa.”

Earlier this year, in January, Syntura announced the appointment of Anthony Muiyuro to lead the company’s expansion across Africa.

Speaking during the launch event, Anthony said, the Syntura Experience Center will play a pivotal role in contributing to Kenya’s AI and technology revolution, enabling firms of all sizes to innovate, experiment, and launch AI driven solutions designed to meet challenges across East Africa.

”The Experience Center highlights our implementation expertise for Cloud platforms, voice and collaboration tools, AI Co-pilot capabilities, and Microsoft’s robust security offerings, demonstrating our role in shaping the future of work. By offering a hands-on, interactive environment, Syntura enables organizations to explore cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency while maintaining the highest security standards,’’ he said.

Syntura is a global technology partner, providing advisory, infrastructure, and managed services. Founded in 2000, the company is a Microsoft, AWS, Fortinet and Vaeem partner, working with firms to not only drive digital transformation through technology.

Syntura says it is redefining the future of work with the launch of its AI, Security, and Modern Workplace Experience Center, a cutting-edge hub designed to showcase the latest advancements in workplace collaboration, artificial intelligence, and enterprise security.

Featuring Microsoft’s AI Co-pilot, Teams Voice, and advanced security solutions, this immersive space will help businesses explore how AI-driven insights, seamless communication, and cybersecurity innovation are transforming the way organizations operate.
