IOC and TCL Announce Worldwide Olympic Partnership Through 2032

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced a Worldwide Olympic Partnership with TCL, lasting until 2032.

TCL will become an official Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner in the Home Audiovisual Equipment and Home Appliances categories.

TCL will support fans and athletes by supplying digital display equipment at the venues and household appliances to the Olympic Village. The agreement embraces IOC’s Olympic AI Agenda and “Athlete Moments” initiative, enabling athletes to reach out to their family members after competitions.

The IOC will allocate revenue from this partnership to benefit sports organizations, National Olympic Committees, and Olympic event organizers worldwide.

At the announcement in Beijing’s Water Cube, IOC President Thomas Bach stated, “The IOC is excited to partner with TCL, a world leader in technology and sports support. The Olympic Games are the greatest, most inspirational global sporting stage.”

TCL Chairman Li Dongsheng added, “We are honoured to become a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner. This aligns with our goal to ‘Inspire Greatness’ and contribute to the Olympic Games with our innovative technology.”

Some of the advanced technologies that TCL will bring out include smart displays, air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, door locks, audio systems, projectors, and RayNeo smart glasses.

Jiří Kejval, Chair of the IOC Revenues and Commercial Partnerships Commission, said, “TCL is a global leader and one of the world’s fastest-growing brands. This partnership highlights the unparalleled marketing platform of the Olympic Games.”
