Xiaomi has unveiled the the long-awaited Redmi Note 14 series which is now finally in the country. As anticipated, the company has introduced several upgrades across the entire lineup compared to the previous Redmi Note 13 series.
Xiaomi has made notable improvements to the durability of the Redmi Note 14 series thanks to its All-Star Armor Structure , ensuring it can survive drops from heights up to 180 cm onto hard surfaces like marble or wooden floors without sustaining damage.
The 14 Pro+ has high-end protection, featuring Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front, Gorilla Glass 7i on the back, and a robust aluminum frame. It also holds an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Additionally, it boasts a display with a peak brightness of 3000 nits and enhanced stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos for superior audio.
The 14 Pro offers a solid upgrade, with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front, an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, and a peak brightness of 1800 nits. The series’ base model comes with Gorilla Glass 5 for added screen protection.
The Redmi Note 14 series offers a range of color options across its models. The Pro Plus is available in Frost Blue, Midnight Black, and Lavender Purple. The Pro version comes in Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Aurora Purple. Meanwhile, the base model is offered in Ocean Blue, Lime Green, and Midnight Black.
The Redmi Note 14 series is powered by faster processors than its predecessors. The 14 Pro Plus features the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, the 14 Pro is equipped with the Helio G100 Ultra, and the base model, the 14, runs on the Helio G99 Ultra. All models come with Android 14 and HyperOS and are guaranteed to receive up to three major Android updates.
The 14 Pro Plus introduces advanced AI capabilities, including features like Circle to Search, AI Background Removal, AI Image Expansion, and AI Eraser. Meanwhile, the 14 Pro, with its G100 Ultra chipset, fully supports the impressive 200MP main camera for enhanced photography performance.
Xiaomi has enhanced the selfie cameras across the entire Redmi Note 14 series. Both the Pro Plus and base model see an upgrade from 16MP to 20MP, while the Pro model makes a significant leap from 16MP to 32MP for even better selfies.
The Redmi Note 14 series comes with larger batteries for improved performance. The Pro Plus is equipped with a 5110mAh battery, while both the Pro and base models feature a 5500mAh battery for extended battery life.
