How To Check Your 2024 KCSE Results
It’s now official that the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results will be released on Thursday.
Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos Ogamba is set to announce the results at New Mitihani House in South C, Nairobi.
This year, a record-high of 965,501 candidates sat the exams, an increase from 903,138 in 2023. The exams took place in 10,755 centres across the country with marking concluding on December 13, 2024.
According to The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) CEO Dr. David Njengere, this year there was no single case of early exposure to examination material.
”I can confirm that last year and this year, we did not have a single case of early exposure of the second session papers” he said.
How To Check KCSE 2024 Results
You can check the results via the KNEC portal.
- Visit the KNEC Results Portal here https://results.knec.ac.ke/
- Enter Required Details (Your 11-digit index number and name as registered for the KCSE examination) and
- Click the ‘Submit’ button to view your results.
Your results will be displayed on the screen which you can print or save.
Unlike in previous years, candidates will not be able to access their KCSE results through SMS code.
Remember the 2024 KCSE results will only be available on the portal after they have officially been announced.
