Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, A06 Debut in Kenya


Samsung Electronics East Africa has introduced the Galaxy A16 5G and Galaxy A06 smartphones in Kenya, providing a chic design, robust performance, and cost-effectiveness for consumers on a budget. These devices are designed to improve smartphone accessibility in East Africa and act as gateways to Samsung’s ecosystem.

The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen, MediaTek Dimensity 6300+ CPU, a 50MP triple-camera system, supports 5G connectivity, and offers fast charging capabilities. The starting price is Ksh 20,900 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and Ksh 22,800 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option.

The Galaxy A06 boasts a 6.7-inch HD+ screen, powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, a dual camera setup with 50MP, a 5,000mAh battery, and storage that can be expanded up to 1TB. The starting prices are Ksh 12,900 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant and Ksh 14,700 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model.

The Galaxy A16 5G and Galaxy A06 smartphones can be found at Samsung outlets and offered through financing plans such as Watu Simu and M-Kopa, aligning with Samsung’s goal to boost smartphone accessibility throughout East Africa.
