OPPO Find X8 is now finally available to purchase in the country. Kenya now joins the international market where you can buy OPPO’s flagship camera smartphone after it launched for the global market late last month.
The OPPO Find X8 features a flat 6.59-inch LTPO OLED near bezel-less display(ultra-slim 1.45mm bezels) with a 120Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution of 1256 x 2760 pixels. The screen delivers up to 4500 nits of peak brightness and is shielded by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
With a glass back and an aluminum frame, the phone boasts a durable and striking Cosmos Ring design and an IP68/69 rating for water and dust resistance. It also comes with stereo speakers and an optical under-display fingerprint scanner.
The OPPO Find X8 is available in Star Grey and Space Black with a fingerprint-resistant finish.
The phone comes with OPPO’s Splash Touch technology which allows for smooth operation in wet conditions, and TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification safeguards users’ eyes during extended use.
The OPPO Find X8 series is designed as a lineup of camera-focused smartphones featuring the all-new Hasselblad Master Camera System. The base model includes a triple 50MP rear camera setup housed in a Cosmos Ring-style camera module. It features a 24mm main lens with OIS and 2x optical zoom, a 73mm periscope telephoto lens with OIS and dual prism technology providing 3x optical zoom and up to 6x digital zoom, and a 15mm ultrawide lens offering a 120-degree field of view. Additionally, it supports AI super-resolution up to 120x zoom and records video at a maximum resolution of 4K at 60fps.
The OPPO Find X8 is powered by the Dimensity 9400 processor, featuring the all-new Trinity Engine that has an innovative cooling system with a graphite layer, vapor chamber, and thermal conductive gel, while running on the newly launched ColorOS 15 and Android 15, with RAM options from 12GB to 16GB and storage ranging from 256GB to 1TB.
ColorOS 15, featuring over 800 design enhancements and the Luminous Rendering Engine for faster touch response and stability, offers a sleek user experience with Flux Themes for easy visual changes, and the Find X8 will support Android 15 with six years of security updates.
ColorOS 15 introduces advanced AI features like Google Circle for seamless OPPO device searches, transforming photos to ultra-high-definition with AI Clarity Enhance, and offering powerful note-taking and transcription tools via the new Documents app and Recorder.
The OPPO Find has a 5630mAH silicon-carbon battery for 80W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
