Burning Heroes Africa Product Manager’s contest 2024 applications open


Burning Heroes Founders Association has opened applications for the 2024 Burning Heroes Product Managers (PM) Contest Africa Edition. 

The competition is strategically designed to identify and nurture the next generation of product leaders on the continent while fostering meaningful connections between talented product managers and technology companies at the forefront of innovation.

“We are excited to bring together some of the most innovative minds across Africa and the Middle East, united by the opportunity to address impactful case studies presented by our esteemed partners. This year’s contest aims to foster actionable solutions that will not only advance product management on the continent but also create pathways for global impact.” Victor Aneleh, Contest Leader, Burning Heroes Africa & Middle East said.

The contest will feature a distinguished panel of judges including PM Community Champions from across Africa, Tech Ecosystem builders and Senior PMs from Microsoft, Intuit etc. Together, their diverse expertise will guide and shape the trajectory of the competition’s solutions, creating a dynamic and nurturing space for Africa’s next generation of product leaders.

This year’s contest will be held virtually and is open to applicants of African and Middle Eastern descent or professionals working and/or residing in these regions.

Participants will benefit from a platform to demonstrate and refine product management skills through solving real-world case challenges. They will also get an opportunity to gain recognition and receive valuable feedback from seasoned experts

Additionally, they will benefit from potential hiring prospects or the chance to implement solutions with contest partners

Established in 2022, Burning Heroes Founders Association is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization focused on supporting early-stage tech projects and emerging talent. Its ecosystem currently features over 200 validated startups and top global investors. 

The association says its mission is to unite startup founders, tech talents, and investors in the pursuit of valuable innovations for the world, guided by the belief that talent and hard work are the primary drivers for such groundbreaking advancements.

Applications for this year’s program close on November 30th.
