Infinix Zero Flip Makes Its Debut in Kenya

Infinix has entered the foldables chat with the debut of the Infinix Zero Flip.

It’s been a long time coming since TECNO, its sister company under the Transsion brand, already launched its second-gen foldables – the Phantom V2 Flip and V2 Fold and the concept Tri-fold Phantom Ultimate 2. It is great that the market has new entrants, especially in the more affordable foldable segment and the Zero Flip wants to be part of that.

The Infinix Zero Flip has a 6.9-inch FHD+(1080p) AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1400 nits brightness for the main display and a 3.64-inch screen with 1056 x 1066 pixel resolution(413ppi) for the cover screen that also has a 120Hz refresh rate with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The cover screen is even better than the just-launched Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 cover screen that has a 60Hz refresh rate and 720 x 748 pixel resolution(306ppi)

The Infinix Zero Flip has a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on Android 14 and XOS 14.5 with AI-powered tools like Ask AI, AI charge, AI wallpaper generation, AI Summarizer, and more features. It will get Android 15 and Android 16.

You get 50MP main with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide primary rear cameras and a 50MP selfie camera – all of them record video a 4K 30fps.

It has a 4720mAh battery with 70W charging. It’s worth noting that the Z Flip 6 has a 4000mAh battery and 25W wired charging. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint reader and JBL-tuned speakers.

Infinix Zero Flip goes for Ksh 86,000.
