Equity Bank’s Online Banking Services to be Temporarily Unavailable On Saturday
Equity Bank has announced plans to carry out a scheduled system maintenance this weekend that will see its online banking platforms experience a temporary downtime.
During the maintenance, the bank says its Equity Mobile App, Online Banking, *247# USSD service, Eva Chatbot, and EazzyBiz platform will be intermittently unavailable.
The maintenance is scheduled for Friday, October 25, 2024, commencing at 11:00 pm up to 1:00 am on Saturday, October 26.
The second maintenance window shall be on Saturday morning starting from 7:00 am to 10:00 am.
Equity Bank says that all other channels namely ATMs, Card services, Point of Sale terminals, Equitel mobile network, banking agents and cash deposit machines will all still be operational throughout the period of maintenance.
The bank has apologized for any inconvenience this may cause and advises its customers to plan their banking requirements accordingly.
The idea behind this is that it will further improve service reliability on their digital channels.
