Vivo V40 5G Review – Worth the upgrades + ZEISS

Vivo V40 5G Review: For Ksh. 64,999, the vivo V40 5G is quite an interesting device. The phone is the company’s camera-centric lineup and vivo has partnered with Zeiss for its portrait smartphone photography.

Zeiss is bringing its optical and imaging expertise to the V40.

Vivo V40 has a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide. It also has a 50MP selfie camera. All three cameras shoot 4K 30fps video. It also has an Aura Light feature that brightens faces during lowlight portrait shots.

The new vivo V40, created with ZEISS, demonstrates vivo’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality smartphone portrait photography.

It offers a variety of ZEISS Style Bokeh effects, all expertly designed to give user portraits a unique and refined visual appeal. Building on this foundation, AI Aura Light Portrait feature on V40 offers professional lighting, perfect for low-light portrait photography. The upgraded AI 3D Studio Lighting enhances image quality with precise and natural fill light, making it ideal for indoor and backlit scenarios.
